Tasks and Appointments work similarly. The difference is that Tasks set a reminder only to yourself, while Appointments attach another person to the calendar.
2. Select 'Task' to create a new task for yourself.
Use this for reminders to make a phone call, send an email, etc.
3. Select 'Appointment' to set an appointment with other people (internal or external).
Add the applicable appointment type:
- Standard
- Zoom Meeting
- Campus Visit
4. After completing any task or appointment, remember to Save.
Creating a task or appointment creates these events in your Outlook account and can also be managed there.
