How to Clone a Course

Updated on

Follow these steps to clone any course in Cloud. Previously, only the most recent instance of a given SKU in an institution could be cloned; now, you can clone any course.

1. Collect the following information from the instructor:

  • Start Date
  • End Date
  • Expected Enrollment
  • Session Name
  • Copy Notes/Gradebook Points?: [Yes/No]

2. In Cloud, navigate to the institution's page and select the course SKU to be cloned.

4. In the Clone Course Instance page, enter the information you collected from the instructor.

Remember that "Section Open Dates" should always begin with the current date so that the instructor can access the course and students can enroll.

Note: If shopping cart is disabled, you will not need to enter BSO and BSO Line #. The fields will not be visible. If shopping cart is enabled, the fields will appear. (BSO information can be found in CRM under Closed Won).
