This error occurs when:
- an LTI link is selected in a "student view" or "instructor view." Links do not work in preview mode.
- an LTI link was selected in an LMS development course shell that does not have an instructor associated with it.
Please send this instructor help article on ERROR 4222 prior to contacting the LMS specialist for assistance.
Make sure that the instructor is listed as the instructor in the LMS course and they are not in a preview mode. If the instructor needs to see what the students are seeing, they can impersonate a real user.
If this does not resolve the issue, submit a support ticket.
