Why is a Student Already Unlocked?

Updated on

1. The student had previously enrolled in and unlocked a different section of the same SKU.

This is likely the cause if you see two enrollments in the same SKU for a student in the Student Tab.

1.1. Enter the student's name in the search field.

1.2. In the list, select the "Course" column header.

It doesn't matter whether the courses are listing in ascending or descending order; course lines using the same SKU will still be grouped together.

1.3. Find the SKU of the course in question to see if there is a duplicate.

Remember that the student's email, institution, SKU, and instructor must all match for this to be the cause of the issue.

1.4. If there is a duplicate, select the lock icon to lock the course to the student.

2. The kit code requirement has been removed from the section.

Check with the sales rep to see if that is the case.
