Identifying Kit SKUs

Among the kitting business, we currently have three lines of business running: Science Interactive (SI), Hands-On Labs (HOL), and eScience Labs. Each brand uses different codes in the SKU. The table below provides more detail on identifying a brand using the SKU.

Hands-On Labs LP
  • Standard and custom hands-on lab kits
  • Use for chemistry, physics kits 
  • All other disciplines have SI (redeveloped) content available - if you encounter these kits, clients should be encouraged to transition to SI content
SP
  • Used for HOL Core kits
  • Available for sale in: microbiology, chemistry
  • Standard, non-customizable kits designed for low cost 
  • Biology and A&P kits are still in use, but no longer available for new sales
Science Interactive  SI
  • Standard and custom hands-on lab kits
  • Most up-to-date content
  • Use for all disciplines EXCEPT chemistry, physics
SC
  • Used for SI Core kits 
  • Available for sale in Biology, A&P 
  • Standard kits designed for low cost 
eScience Labs Kit
  • Used for ESL kits
  • No longer actively sold - in process of discontinuation
