AI Project Registry

Updated on

The AI Project Registry is a shared log of AI initiatives underway across SIG. It exists so the company can avoid duplicate work, share what’s working, and measure the real impact of our AI investments  collectively, not just team by team.

Registering a project does not require approval to proceed. You can start anytime. Registration simply tells the Task Force you’re working on something so we can support you and share your results.

The AI Project Registry Form can be found here

What SHOULD be registered

  • Any project that involves more than 2 hours of setup
  • Any project that automates or assists with a recurring task or process

Examples that should be registered:

Sales: Prompt template for drafting customer quotes using Claude

Operations: Co-pilot assisted discrepancy review in Excel replacing a manual weekly process

Customer Support: Claude prompt to generate structured CRM case summaries from call notes

Finance: Power Automate flow that routes invoice exceptions without manual triage

What SHOULD NOT be registered

  • One-off use of Claude to draft an email or summarize a document or prepare a report
  • Using Copilot to reformat a spreadsheet once
  • Casual experimentation with a tool to see if it's useful

What to include when you submit

The form takes about 5 minutes. You'll be asked for:

FieldWhat to Enter
Project NameA short, descriptive title
DepartmentYour Team
AI Tool(s) UsedSelect from list of approved tools or add new

Using an Unapproved Tool? You can still submit  just Add New in the tools list drop down. The Task Force will reach out to discuss it. Approved tools today are Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, and Lovable.

What happens after you submit

  • The Task Force reviews all new submissions and assigns a reviewer within one week.
  • If your project is a candidate to be replicated in other departments, you’ll hear from us.
  • Completed projects with measurable outcomes are included in quarterly leadership reporting  your work gets visibility at the top.
  • You can update your submission at any time as the project evolves.
