- This offering would be ideal for schools to use as a supplement to their existing course--they can add in virtual dissections to replace the dissections that students can't do in the lab.
Customization
While customization is allowed for the HOL virtual dissection suite, keep in mind that the $69.99 price point is fixed, and does not change if the instructor removes lessons. Whether the course consists of a single BioDigital lesson or all 9, the price remains the same.
Because of this, we should always approach selling the virtual dissection suite as a complete entity with all 9 lessons and we should not suggest to the customer that they pick and choose from among them. However, if a customer asks you if they can remove individual lessons from the suite, the answer is yes, but the price will stay the same.
Sales Notes
- Students can access the labs via the HOL Cloud
- These kits can be integrated directly into the LMS, due to the nature of the LTI integration used by HOL.
- These offerings differ from the ESL virtual offerings because they are only the dissection lessons--there are currently no other virtual lessons or experiments available in A&P for HOL.
- The course SKU that contains all 9 lessons is LP-9502-AP-01 (only use this SKU if the instructor is not customizing the course. Custom courses will need unique SKUs as usual, even thought the price is staying the same.
